My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where adult students feel encouraged to explore music without fear or self-judgment. Whether someone is returning to an instrument after years away or picking one up for the first time, I strive to make the learning process fulfilling, inspiring, and fun. My own multidisciplinary background as a cellist, singer, and actor allows me to offer a holistic approach to instruction—one that integrates technique, musicality, and performance artistry.

My First Ever Orchestra Concert
As a passionate private cello educator and performer in the Oklahoma City area, I bring a dynamic, well-rounded approach to teaching, shaped by my diverse experiences on and off the stage. With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Cello Performance from Oklahoma City University, my musical journey has expanded beyond classical training to include musical theatre acting—broadening my artistic perspective and deepening my ability to connect with students. In my full-time private music studio, I work with students of all ages and skill levels, with a
special passion for teaching adults. I understand that as we grow older, we sometimes forget the joy of learning something new, or we hesitate to step outside our comfort zones.

Beyond my studio, I stay actively engaged in the arts as a music director with Lyric Thelma Gaylord Academy, and a cellist as the principal cellist for the Enid Symphony Orchestra, and Painted Sky Opera. Each of these roles informs my teaching, enabling me to create a rich and engaging earning experience that fosters confidence, creativity, and a deeper connection to music for students of all ages.
